Endangered Waters

Give a Hoot!
 Don't Pollute!

For many people, eating healthy means eating fish.

They're low in fat and high in protein.

They're also disappearing from the oceans faster than they can replenish themselves.

Many of the world's commercial fish stocks are in trouble.

Seas without fish will soon become dead seas. Schools of Cod, Haddock, Anchovies, Pollock and other commercially harvested species are vital parts of the ocean web of life.

When they disappear, other forms of ocean life will suffer and die as well.

~Fortunately you can have your fish and save them too.~

The next time you're in a seafood restaurant or buying fish at the market, ask if the fish you're buying come from a well-managed fishery.

If your waiter or fishmonger doesn't know the answer and most won't, tell them this.

Did you know?
