Berry's Praying Angel Tutorial

new layer name it HALO
open selections/load from disk/sb-angel-halo.sel
using paintbrush fill with white
effects/textures/sculpture/gold
deselect
ctrl-S

new layer name it HEAD
open selections/load from disk/sb-angel-head.sel
flood fill with black
selections/modify contract 2/
flood fill with #EAD2A0
effects/3d/inner bevel with same settings
deselect
ctrl-S

new layer name it HAIR
open selections/load from disk/sb-angel-hair.sel
flood fill with forecolor #FF0000 (or color of your choice)
selections/select all/
selections/ float/
use effects/3d/inner bevel with these settings:

use effects/plugins/eye candy/fur with settings:

or

deselect
ctrl-S

new layer name it EYES
open selections/load from disk/sb-angel-eyes.sel
Using paintbrush, fill with black
selections/modify/contract 2
using paintbrush, fill with white
deselect
ctrl-S

new layer name it EYES2
open selections/load from disk/sb-angel-eyes2.sel
fill with green (or color of your choice)
effects/3d/inner bevel/soft edge
deselect
ctrl-S

new layer - name it mouth
set forecolor= #C00000 and background color= #FF4040
Using preset shapes/ heart1 antialias checked, retain style not checked
draw mouth
ctrl-S

I never merge until the end so I can go back and make changes if I want to.
Before merging check to be sure you layers are in the proper order


Once I merge I save in .gif or .jpg and I always have a copy of .psp to use again.

 

A note about the cloud in this tutorial. That cloud can be moved or deleted completely since it is on its own layer.
(1) Just click on the 'cloud layer' and use your mover tool and you can move it around. You may want it some place else. 
(2)If you don't want it there, just delete that layer all together. 
(3)Or you can turn off all the other layers and copy and paste as new image and make the cloud a tube of its own to use later.


That ctrl-S can get to be a habit huh? A good habit!!

You're done!! Merge visible to tube for use later
or put in a graphic.
