This page will not be as the rest of my pages.

I don't usually have just a link page.. I like creating pages for causes I believe in and will continue to do so. But this page will take you to other sites and here is why. There are so many things out in the world that are harmfull to our children. So many have created wonderful pages concerning all of the things that concern children. Rather than create pages for each, I will put many helpful and informational links here. Some are pleas for help finding missing children, some are memorials to children who have not made it through abuse, and many more are about the recovery of abuse victims.

I will be adding more to this page as I find links that are meaningful and a bit above the norm.

My words were harsh and hasty, and they came without thought.
Then I saw the pain and anguish that my bitter words had brought.
Bitter words that I had spoken made me think back through the past,
of how many times I'd uttered biting words whose pain would last.

Then I wondered of the people I had hurt by the things I'd said;
all the ones I had discouraged when I didn't use my head.
Then I thought about my own life, of the painful words I've heard,
and of the times I'd been discouraged by sharp and cruel words.

And now, clearly I remember all the things I might have done,
but, by a word, I was discouraged and they never were begun. Lord,
help my words be Silver Boxes, neatly wrapped up with a bow;
that I give to all so freely, as though each day I gladly go.
Silver Boxes full of treasure, precious gifts from God above;
that all the people I encounter, might have a box of God's own love.

Did You Know?

In most states the penalty for an adult who rapes a child is twenty years plus - UNLESS that adult happens to be related to the child - in which case the maximum sentence could be PROBATION. There is legislation now pending in Congress to change all this.
